FROM HIM COMETH MY SALVATION
Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. Psalms 62:1
This scripture expresses a fundamental truth by which every believer should live. In our times of trouble, afflictions, or oppressions from our enemies, we should turn to God as our ultimate refuge and deliverer. Every believer who completely trusts in God sgould be abale to say:
(1) I WILL NOT ALLOW ANYTHING TO SHAKE MY CONFIDENCE IN GOD
Even thought we may suffer trouble, crisis, suffering, trials, problems to shake my confidence in God. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved. Psalms 62:6 Not only does my deliverance come from Him Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. Psalms 62:1 but He Himself is my salvation. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Psalms 62:7
(2) IN TIMES OF ANXIETY I COMMIT MYSELF TO HIM
When we experience times of heavy anxiety, or even threat, we should commit ourselves to Him. We should spend time in earnest prayer telling Him all that is in our heart. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Phil 4:6
(3) I MUST WAIT ON THE LORD TO ACT
We need to learn to wait on the Lord to act in our behalf. We can be assured and have the knowledge to know that He will respond to us in Mercy, and Pity (compassion) towards our situation. God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work Psalms 62:11,12
