THY WORDS

THY WORDS……..JOY AND REJOICING OF MY HEART
Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts. Jer 15:16
Just as Jeremiah did we too should differ from the people in two fundamental ways.
(1) WE SHOULD LOVE THE WORD OF GOD
The Word of God should be a joy and delight to our hearts. One sure sign that we are children of God is an intense love for the inspired Word of God. How sweet are thy words unto my taste! Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Psalms 119:103
(2) WE SHOULD REMAIN SEPERATE FROM THE WORLD
You and I should strive to remain seperated from the sinful actions actions of our secular friends. We should remain separate from the sinful actions of the world in general as well. For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth. I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked. Psalms 26:3-5
