A SEDUCTION OF CHRISTIANITY
Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter: Ezek 13:10
In the day of Ezekiel many false prophets were seducing the people into a false sense of security by preaching of God’s peace and love, while proclaiming that they did not have to turn from their wicked ways or their rebellion against His Word. For this reason God cut them off from their land and salvation.
(1) TODAY THERE ARE MANY FALSE PROPHETS
In our churches and in the world today there are also false prophets. They are preaching and teaching that an individual can be a genuine Christian and posses eternal life and still partake of and enjoy sin. Many “Christians” today claim salvation and remain in their sins without any thoughts of repentance. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Matt 24:5 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Matt 24:11 Many so-called Christians are of the mind set that “God Loves Me And He Will Not Send Me To Hell” Therefore they choose to live any way they want and still claim Christianity. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matt 7:22-23
(2) TODAY MANY ARE CLAIMING SALVATION WITHOUT TURNING FROM SIN
We as Christians should not be deceived or give way to these false teachings and babblings from those teachers and preachers who teach such lies. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience Eph 5:6 Those who do such things will not have an inheritance in the Kingdom Of God. Many today choose to indulge themselves in greed, approve of the homosexual lifestyle, self help, abortion, and any other kind of evil and still call themselves A Christian. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 2 Cor 6:17 It takes a complete and total separation from the world.
