LOOK UNTO THE LORD

Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. Micah 7:7

In the middle of an evil, sick society, Micah put his faith in God and His promise. He knew that God would sustain him. He also knew that one day God will execute justice against all evil, and cause righteousness to reign. I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness. Micah 7:9

(1) GOD HAS CALLED US TO LIVE IN THIS WORLD

God calls us as believers to live “In the middle of a crooked and perverse Nation” He has called each of us to “Shine as lights in the world.” That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Phil 2:15

(2)  EVIL WILL INCREASE

Although evil may increase and society may disintegrate, we can still offer God’s gift of Salvation to all who will listen. And all the while we can still pray and look for the day when He will set things right. Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.  He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Micah 7:18-19
