SEEK RIGHTEOUSNESS AND MEEKNESS
Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger. Zeph 2:3
As Christians we have a great hope in the Lord. However, the Lord would have each one of us to deepen our commitment to Him and His ways. Even as believers we need to seek three things if we are going to experience “Revival, Renewed Blessings from the Lord. Three things which are very essential to us as believers.
(1) SEEK GOD HIMSELF
As believers we must turn our hearts towards Him, with a deep desire to to know and love Him. He is our Lord and protector. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jer 29:13
(2) SEEK RIGHTEOUSNESS
We need to seek righteousness according to God’s Word as our way of life But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matt 6:33
(3) SEEK HUMILITY
We need to seek humility i.e. Laying down our pride, and self centered agenda in humble submission to God and His righteous ways. The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility. Prov 15:33 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. James 4:6
