THY KINGDOM COME
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Matt 6:10
Here on earth we pray for many things and we pray in many ways. Most of our prayer should concern The Kingdom Of God now and with it’s future fulfillment as well.
(1) WE SHOULD PRAY FOR JESUS RETURN
As Christians we should be praying for the return of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. We should desire to see His eternal Kingdom established, in the new heaven and new earth. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 2 Peter 3:11-13
(2) WE MUST PRAY FOR HIS PRESENCE
You and I must pray for His Spiritual Presence and manifestation of that Kingdom being manifest now. This includes, but is not limited to: Asserting God’s Power among His people in order to destroy the works of the devil. We need to see the healing of the sick and lame. We need to pray that the lost will be saved. We must pray for His Righteousness, and that He will pour out The Holy Spirit on His people. And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: Acts 2:17
