HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT

HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Cor 12:9
Grace is God’s presence, favor, and power. It is a Heavenly Strength bestowed on those who call upon God. This grace will descend upon the faithful believer who accepts his weakness and difficulties for the gospel’s sake. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Phil 4:13
(1) THE GREATER OUR WEAKNESS
The greater our weakness and trials for Christ, the more grace God will give us to accomplish His will. What He bestows on us is always sufficient for us to live our daily lives, to work for Him, and to endure our sufferings, and “thorn’s in the flesh” There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear 1 Cor 10:13
(2) DRAW NEAR TO CHRIST
As long as we draw near to Christ, He will bestow His Heavenly strength, and comfort on us. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. James 4:8 We should glory and see eternal value in our weaknesses, because they cause the power of Christ to descend on us and dwell within us as we walk through life toward our Heavenly Home.
